Welcome to the Club: The Story Behind Lonely Cowgirls Club

It all started with a sweatshirt and a longing for connection. After a relationship ended, I found myself re-evaluating what brought me joy and comfort. Growing up, I loved horseback riding, the sense of adventure, and the friendships that came with it. But living in the city, I missed that part of my life.

In a moment of inspiration, I created my first design, “Chicago Needs More Cowboys.” What started as a playful nod to my cowboy "type" turned into something much bigger. When I wore the sweatshirt out and shared it on social media, I was overwhelmed by the response. It wasn’t just me—there were so many women craving connection, adventure, and a touch of the country lifestyle.

That spark led to Lonely Cowgirls Club, a community where women from all walks of life come together through trail rides, events, and our signature merch. It’s not just about the horses (though they’re a big part of it). It’s about building friendships, finding your crew, and creating unforgettable experiences.

In August 2024, I hosted our first trail ride. I was nervous—what if no one showed up? But the response was incredible, and we sold out, not just once but three times. That’s when I knew Lonely Cowgirls Club was something special.

Now, we’re dreaming bigger. From trail rides across the country, pop-ups at your favorite country bars to retreats that reconnect us with nature and each other, the journey is just beginning.
